Welcome to Inspired Little Learners!
Hi, I’m Allison! I’m mom to three young boys aged 2, 4, and 6. I began this blog in 2019, shortly after my second son was born. Along with sharing in this space, I also shared activity ideas and inspiration on social media, primarily on Instagram on my account @inspired_little_learners. Through the years, I started focusing more on my Instagram account and starting sharing less to this blog space. Starting in 2024, I will be sharing more on the Inspired Little Learners website.
This website is more than just a blog for me; it’s a labor of love that stems from my journey into motherhood and my passion inspiring curious young minds. When my eldest was born, I became more interested in the ways that children learn and develop. I was influenced by Montessori principles and how these could be implemented at home. I started sharing learning activities and everyday experiences that my kids and I enjoyed together. What started as a simple desire to document our daily play activities, soon evolved into something much greater.
As my children grew, so did my commitment to their education. I made the decision to homeschool, allowing me to tailor their learning experiences. Occasionally, I will share some of our homeschooling journey in this space. You can also follow along on my homeschooling Instagram account: @inspired_schoolhouse. There I share more learning activities, homeschool resources, and homeschool inspiration. I am also a big proponent of gameschooling and I will often share some of our favorite board games!
At Inspired Little Learners, you will find resources designed to inspire curiosity, foster creativity, and ignite a lifelong love of learning. From hands-on activities and educational games to tips for navigating the ups and downs of parenthood, my goal is to inspire and support families on their educational journey. I hope to inspire you to embrace the joy of discovery in all its forms. Whether we’re exploring nature, embarking on a new art project, or simply enjoying a quiet moment together, every experience is an opportunity for growth and learning and I hope to inspire a love of lifelong learning in all of our little learners! ❤️Allison
