Green Toys Vehicles
Green Toys makes a variety of vehicles and my kids are huge fans! They are made from 100% recycled plastic and are dishwasher safe!

Pull Wagon
Another favorite from Green Toys. Use it inside or outside. A great toy for kids that enjoy transporting items around.
Doll
Around the age of two, kids start getting more interested in pretend play. A baby doll is a great toy for both boys and girls. I love that these dolls are anatomically correct and available in a variety of skin tones.
Piano
Musical instruments are great for multiple ages. This mini piano has quickly become a favorite.
Washable Coloring Cloth
We love these washable coloring cloths because they are a great way to encourage creativity, without paper waste. Many different designs are available and two different sizes.

Easel
Easels are great for encouraging creativity and there are multiple benefits to working on a vertical surface. I like this easel because it is multi-function and includes a chalkboard, felt board and magnetic dry erase board.
Stabilo Woody 3 in 1
Stabilo Woody 3 in 1 are one of our favorite art supplies. The chunky size is great for little hands. They write smoothly and I love the bright colors!
Toob Figurines
Toob Figurines are great for introducing new vocabulary. You can also use them in sensory or small world play. There are a variety of themes available.
Bonus: The name for each animal (or object) is printed on each figurine. This is one reason that I think these make great language objects!
Note: These are smaller objects and not suitable for kids still mouthing.
Wooden Tongs
These tongs by Natural Playbox are my favorite tongs for little hands! As toddlers, my kids had trouble using other tongs/tweezers but the design of these make it easy for younger kids to use.

Wooden Train
Great beginner train set. My kids love the magnetic crane. The tracks are similar quality to Brio (but without the high price tag). The tracks are also compatible with other brands.
Wooden Blocks
A good set of wooden blocks is an ageless toy! I love the quality of Guidecraft items. Blocks are great for developing fine motor skills, early STEM concepts, spatial thinking and problem solving. Blocks are something your child will continue to use for years.
First Orchard Game
It can be hard to find games for 2-year-olds. First Orchard is one of the best first games. The pieces are durable (most are wooden) and large and the gameplay is simple. I love that it is a cooperative game; all of the players work together.
Acorn Soup Game
Another simple game for 2-year-olds. My kids love the pretend play aspect of making soup. It’s also great for counting practice and following a list.
Pouch Puzzle
Around 2yo, your child may be ready for more challenging puzzles. We love the floor puzzle by Mudpuppy. This 12-piece puzzle was the first floor puzzle that I introduced to my son. I particularly like this one, because each animal is a distinct color, which makes it easier for a beginner to identify where the pieces belong.
